DEDALUS project is running for achieving its objectives. After the research phase, the Consortium in now managing the courses creation and the piloting phase.Parnet Universities are in charge of handling their lessons with students, so please find below a provvisional planning of what the Consortium is carrying on.

 

 

  • University of Alcalá (Spain): An extension course from the outputs generated by DEDALUS project will take place in the University of Alcalá from the 31st of May to 4th of June in online format. The course duration is 15 hours, during which the students will learn about essential concepts and skills related to identification, research, evaluation, organisation and communication of online information, not limited to a specific field but being applicable to all fields where information is managed. This course will be awarded with 1 ECTS credit. Extra details can be found in the UAH webpage [in Spanish]
  • University of Novi Sad (Serbia): The University of Novi Sad will provide a course on Data Visualization as part of the course on E-business at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. The course of Data Visualization is covered under the DEDALUS project co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. The course will be provided online via the MS Teams platform from 20 February to 15 June. During the course, students will learn how to draw charts, manage, and interpret data in MS Excel. This course will be awarded with 4 ECTS credits under the E-business course.
  • University of Southampton (United Kingdom) and University of Milan (Italy): The University of Southampton will provide a course on Data Collection and Management for non-computer scientists, to be delivered in Università Degli Studi Milano Statale. This online course is covered under the DEDALUS project co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. The course will be provided online via the Canvas platform at a date yet to be determined between the end of April and the start of May 2021. During the course, students will learn best practices for collecting, organising, and classifying data. This short course will require 10 hours of effort distributed in two weeks and will be assessed and supported by dedicated expert tutors.
  • Vilnius University (Lithuania): Vilnius University provides an extensive "Data reading and classification" course for Vilnius University Faculty of Economics and Business Administration.The course is covered under the DEDALUS project co-funded by the ERASMUS+ Programme of the European Union. The course is provided online via the MS Teams platform in February-March, 2021. During the course, students learnt how to gain relevant skills and knowledge while reading and classifying data as well as its various methodological techniques.The course provides parallel learning opportunities to the formal ECTS learning system and supports the university community in practical data literacy competence acquisition.
